High School Sailing Spring Semester
Come join us for the inaugural season of Long Beach Yacht Club's High School Sailing program, starting this fall! This program does not require previous sailing experience to join. We do, however, require a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn from our advanced team of LBYC sailing professionals. We plan on instilling a standardized set of sailing skills to allow for fast and easy learning before we take a deep dive into sailboat racing tactics, technique, regatta preparation and much more.

Our main objectives will be to sail fast, race your own race and have fun! With instructions from Head Coach Rob Rice, Coach Bobby Little, and veteran congressional cup sailor Steve Flam we will have all the support we need to succeed this next sailing season.
